Drum Circle

Let’s transform this day into one of Light and Sound by tapping into our own divine energies as we recall our original instructions by way of a Shamanic journey. The drumming helps us to become more grounded, gain a greater sense of awareness, and offers newfound ways to assist in navigating this momentous time here on Mother Earth.

Join us for this New Monthly Gathering where we explore and expand Five Star Knowledge Teachings

Facilitated by Deb & Grace (of the Cosmic Bears)

Rockland Telephone History Museum Community Open House

Our Telephone Operators will be on duty to connect calls from our 5 switchboards that are connected to all the phones we have in our displays from 1900 thru 1990. Everything is hands on, interactive, fun. You can explore our history while you create your own at our museum. Great for kids, teens, adults and seniors. There is something there for everyone!

You can talk on any of our phones, sit at the switchboards and see what it was like to be the operator and connect calls, view our videos, read through our archives, review our phone books from 1900 thru 1950's, as well as an amazing telephone operator archive of photographs and stories that we just inherited from Dwane Goff from Mt. Pleasant, IA., who was quite an enthusiast. His switchboard will become part of our working collection this summer. We also have more of our dial switch up and running, and it is fascinating to see how all this works!  We are constantly adding to and improving our displays and making this exhibit more engaging and interactive for our visitors!
